"Pool was not built to specification poor workmanship and excuses after excuses. Richard was not interested in fixing the issue, he just hid behind the report of his "independent engineers report" whom mind you does all Richards work. The report was supposed to be independent. My reports have proven very different and point to failure in the pool construction. Since this review I have had to get the pool retiled from the waterline up by a professional Tile company. They shook their head at the poor workmanship which was uncovered. The slab was built perfectly, but no slip joint was put in to seperate the pool from the slab. As a pool builder I would ensure there is sufficient room to leave both elements to move independently. I have photos proving the Slab was laid properly to spec by engineer sign off and images proving the structure. You make up your mind. Inexperience and shonky practices led me to lose over 60K in repair cost. For the Record, the pool is not level, the water doesn't lie, no matter what These people tell you, the evidence is in my back yard ! Here is my original review, (unedited): Very poor experience. We had a pool built by Richard, as soon as handover completed, tiles started popping off. They sent tiler back many times to fix the problem but to no avail. So they came back 6 months later to try to fix it. following this shonky fix it work, the pool still had tiles popping off and cracking appearing in the pool. The cracks got bigger and bigger to the extent that big pieces of the pool render started falling off into the pool. I rang Richard several times, hew promised to attend, but to no avail. Until I threatened with VCAT he organised an engineer, whom visited. We are waiting for his report. Richard has tried to blame others for the poor construction all the way through and has not replied to messages or emails until we threatened Vcat hearing. We will be taking this further till we get the pool fixed.."

"Richard built our swimming pool and we are very happy with the finished product. Only reason didn’t give 5 stars is COVID delays stopped works but I guess it’s not their fault. Anyway we are all completed and happy with it."
