GT INSURANCE 213 Miller Street, North Sydney, New South Wales 2060

"Hi, we have called your company about 7 times in the past 2 weeks about payment of out claim. On almost ever occasion we get palmed off with a " no one's in atm, we will call you back" response. We accepted the claim well over 2 weeks ago, and it took days to hear back, I had to call up and no one had even opened e-mail. They said payment may take up to 3 days, it's been 14 or more and we're still waiting but each time I call up about why it's not done yet, I get palmed off with no one available to talk to. I don't understand how a company like this is so unprofessional, especially to little people like us who are living without a car threw winter, desperate for this pay out to be able to buy another car, at no fault of our own, it's been 3 months of no car and empty promises from remondis and now You also. We needed our pay out last week, we run late to work because of litfs, we can't get another car because we don't have spare cash laying around and didn't expect our car to be hit by a truck, or the company involved and insurance to be this difficult. I don't understand why you can't just prosses the payment so we can get on with out lives, except, you seem to love wasting our lunch breaks spent on hold waiting to be told,we'll call you back. We got told twice yesterday, that someone will call us back. No one ever did. Is this company usless or deliberately doing it. I'll have to call accc today or ombudsmen to discuss actions as we are getting nothing from your company at all. Not even an email back to say prossesed or anything. Payment was ment to take 3 days max I was told, on Monday last week, it's now 2 weeks later and we still have no money or car."

"An absolute joke of an organisation with a typical insurance mentality of paying out a claim for the minimal amount possible. Assessor stuffed me around when they promised they wouldn't place my vehilce on the written off vehicle register (WOVR) and ended up recommending the insurer do so. Vehicle was involved in a theft and driven a kilometer up the road. Have a tracker on the vehicle to confirm the distance. LIcensed smash repair was willing to repair the vehicle with the budget allocated by insurer but was misunderstood by assessor. They also used a car chassis ute only to help determine the payout figure when my ute included a tray. Average price should've been $11,500 but the cab chassis only price ($9,700) dropped it. So much for loyalty. Will be taking my business elsewhere at EOFY. My insurance broker will move all of his customers too. Unwilling to negotiate and wanted me to sort out their stuff up."
