"I go to look at Ubicar Insurance website, and I immediately get a Virus warning from my browser, that the site is not secure, and attackers may steal my information! This is great, when a supposedly credible insurance operation can't even keep their website security certificate current! So I won't be visiting the Ubicar website, or taking out their insurance, anytime soon!"

Two weeks ago got an email saying my insurance cost is going to double when it renews today, but then yesterday, 39 minutes to midnight, I received another email saying my policy will not be renewed (at midnight), assumedly because these guys have gone into voluntary administration. So now, with no notice, I'm uninsured, and I can't drive to work."
"Superb value insurance, really enjoying the feedback and prices. The only gripe I have is that the UbiCar app is tanking my battery. On a one year old flagship Android phone, it's a little disappointing to see the UbiCar app using a lot of power in the background especially as a result of continual GPS tracking. I hoped that after the in-car device was installed the app would know when to run the GPS in the background because the device should be able to let the phone know when my car is turned on and running, and in that situation my phone would be plugged in charging via my car anyway. Despite having installed the in-car device, I'm still seeing extremely rapid battery draining whilst my phone is idle in my pocket at work for example. Again, am a huge fan of the concept of this insurance model, but the app will need a little refinement and tweaking so that it doesn't constantly run the sensors 24/7."

He worked out the best possible premium for my car and made the overall experience very friendly and personable. Premiums are much better compared to other players in the market. "I bought UbiCar insurance for my new car. I got the car delivered in the evening, however I would not be able to use the car unless I did install the mobile app. As a new customer I am left with no option other than to wait till next business day to talk to a customer support agent. To my surprise I discovered that UbiCar support is non functional on Sunday's. The help session on official website is useless, although it holds numerous information about the app usage, their exist no data on how to register for the first time. Although I have a policy, I don't have anyway(log in credentials) to access my ubicar account.The new customer signup prevents me from registering, stating that my email id already registered, at the same time password reset process never works. I will for sure change the insurance at the earliest."
