"I recently referred a single mother and her 4 year old son to Heart and Mind Collective for an autism assessment. My client was greeted by Leisa (co-founder and psychologist) and treated in a warm, caring way. Leisa gave my client her full attention and truly listened to her concerns about her son's behavioural presentation. Subsequently an autism assessment was conducted and report completed in a timely way Attached to the report were referral recommendations for my client to access. I cannot praise more highly with the efficient and professional manner in which my client was treated. The Heart and Mind Collective is a stand out practice and we are lucky to have them operating on the Central Coast. My client is now equipped to get her son the services he needs ready to transition to 'Big School in 2024."
"We lost our puppy ( possibly stolen) and my daughter was suffering from extreme feelings of loss and anxiety. She had sessions with Jesse and she gave her coping skills to deal with the loss and also her self esteem. It changed my daughter completely it has been such a positively warm experience dealing with everyone at heart and mind, highly recommend them"
"In 2021, our son had started developing several issues regarding anxiety. He’d always had trouble with regulating his emotions, and was diagnosed early with ASD and Tourette’s. Our son’s anxiety started to get so bad that he would be in tears before bed every night, consistently unable to sleep alone and often able to sleep even with myself or his mother. To say that the sessions with Lindie helped in this regard would be an extreme understatement. Within a few months of regular sessions with Lindie, we basically had a brand new son. The bedtime anxiety had subsided entirely, he learned a lot of new techniques for regulating his emotions and recognising the signs within himself that he needed a break and most of all, he looked forward to his sessions. Lindie made him feel a level of comfort and safety that we’d only ever found with one other therapist. This practice would be, and has been, my number one recommendation for anyone facing similar issues."
"The rooms were like coming home. The admin and and therapists met us in the waiting room with a smile and an offer of coffee. My daughters have been to multiple therapists and normally dread going but love the fact that their therapy sessions feel like fun whilst exploring their options. I loved the parenting tips I got from our therapists"
