Welcome to WayAhead - Mental Health Association NSW! Located in Pyrmont, Saunders Street, 33-35, we are an establishment dedicated to promoting good mental health and wellbeing throughout Australia. As a point of interest, we offer a range of services and support for individuals, families, and communities.

One of our key offerings is our online directory of mental health and community services. This comprehensive and up-to-date database connects individuals with the support they need, whether it's finding a support group for anxiety or OCD or accessing other mental health resources. We also provide free support groups for friends, family, and those with anxiety or OCD, creating a safe and nurturing environment for individuals to connect and share their experiences.

At WayAhead, we believe in celebrating exceptional work in the mental health sector across New South Wales (NSW). We recognize the importance of acknowledging the efforts of individuals and organizations making a difference in the lives of others. We also support expecting or new parents and their families, offering guidance and resources to navigate the challenges that come with this life stage.

In addition, we are passionate about employee health and wellbeing. We provide opportunities for individuals to connect with others who share an interest in promoting good mental health in the workplace. By fostering a supportive environment, we aim to improve the overall wellbeing of employees and create a positive work culture.

At WayAhead, we understand the significance of reconciliation with the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia. We acknowledge their connections to land, sea, and community, and pay our respect to their elders past and present. We extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

If you need help, our mental health information line is available from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Our dedicated team can connect you with services, provide support, and share valuable information. Alternatively, our WayAhead Directory is available online for self-guided support, even outside of our operating hours.
