Our institution is the result of the merger between two renowned Sydney workshops, HOON Tune and Precision Automotive Racing. By combining our expertise, we strive to deliver the best in modern technology performance car building, tuning, servicing, and maintenance.
In May 2019, we moved into our state-of-the-art workshop in Western Sydney, equipped with the latest tools and equipment. Since then, Precision Racing has established a reputation for providing honest and reliable service that sets new standards in the trade.
While we specialize in the Nissan R35 GTR, Ford Falcon, Ford Mustang, Mitsubishi Evolution, and Lamborghini Huracan/Audi R8 platforms, our skilled team is capable of working on various other car models as well.
Let us share some stories of our passionate car enthusiasts who have become part of the Precision Racing family. Joe, one of the owners of Precision Racing, purchased a facelift Mustang in 2018 with the goal of developing packages that push the boundaries in the Australian Mustang market. The car underwent a transformation, going from a stock vehicle to a twin-turbo setup that truly stands out.
Nathan, another member of our team, added a 2008 R35 GTR to his collection of modified cars, which included muscle cars like XB Hardtop, Valiant Charger, and a VF GTS. This Japanese sports car filled a gap in his stable and showcases his passion for high-performance vehicles.
Phil, a recent addition to the Precision Racing family, attended Sydney Roll Racing as a spectator and was captivated by the atmosphere and excitement. This inspired him to bring his weekend car for some safe and legal fun. Little did he know that this decision would mark the beginning of his journey with Precision Racing.
Our operating hours are as follows: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 5 pm, and Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm. We are closed on weekends.

"Precision racing completed work to my F6, which included a raft of various performance modifications and retuning. Customer service was the absolute highlight. Professional, down to earth and knowledgable about their craft, they give you confidence in leaving the car with them. Ricky and Joe were the standout. Yes there was a 3 month wait to get in the door, but I experienced nothing but the best once i was there, and even though I had a small nitpick with the transmission software, it was fixed up without hassle when I returned the car within an hour. Not to mention how the car performs after the work was completed. On another level. These guys are one of the best performance workshops and businesses in Sydney without a doubt."

"Very happy with my experience at Precision Racing. As with most performance workshops, they're extremely busy with backlogs of cars that mean you can be waiting months to get a spot. When I called up asking for a Stage 1 tune on my FGX XR8 I was informed since it was just a tune they could fit me in about two weeks from that date and get it all done in one day. They kept their word (my car was ready by 3pm the same day), charged a very reasonable price, got a huge power gain out of a simple tune and even disabled my bimodal exhaust for no extra cost. Comparing this to my previous experience at another workshop (with a different car) where they held my car for over a month because they didn't have time to work on it and had issues with parts, going to Precision felt like a relaxing walk in the park. I will definitely be coming back here for future upgrades."
