"My wife's Mazda 2 was recalled last Sept 2022 for the fuel filter replacement. In Dec, during the very hot days, there was a petrol leak on our garage floor right after filling up to full. NRMA service was called and their tech/mechanic said it could be because it was a full tank and due to the heat, the petrol expanded, thus spilling. Since then, we never filled it to full tank, but everytime we filled up (normally to 3/4), the petrol smell was very evident and a few drops of petrol could be seen on the garage floor overnight. Finally decided to let Mazda West End Parra (who did the fuel replacement) have a look. - i called them on a Monday and was booked for Wednesday - upon arrival on Wednesday, the service counter rep said he does not see my booking and it was not possible because their bookings are 1 month in advance. I had to argue that I spoke to a lady on the phone who made the booking due to a petrol leak issue, after the recall. He then said it was a long time ago and it could not be the cause. Further arguments finally persuaded him to take the car in to be checked. When we picked up the car, the same service rep said it was a quick fix as the rubber seal was not seated properly on the fuel filter cover. He did apologise for having us return after the recall. Very disappointed for 1 - their technicians incompetence 2 - they wasted my and my wife's time...and worse, they did not even take an extra step to clean the car while they had it for service as a result of their own doing"

"I had booked my car in for Apple Car Play installation yesterday and I also got my wiper blades changed while I was at it. When I first called, Andre had a chat with me and I booked in the slot with him. On reaching there yesterday morning, I was welcomed by a staff member who was standing next to the driveway and showed me the way to the customer parking. As soon as I parked, Andre came up to me and we discussed what was to be done on the car. I left my car around 7:30am and was told it would be done by 12pm. To my surprise, the car was ready at 10:30am and I got a call saying my car is all set to go. I went and picked up the car and all the work on the car was done pretty neatly. Excellent customer service by Andre. Would definitely be looking forward to getting all my future servicing done at Mazda Parramatta through Andre. The location is pretty handy as well, there is a bus stop right outside the service centre which takes you straight to Parramatta Train Station. This review is for the service centre and especially Andre, keep up the good work. Can leave my car keys in his trusted hands and be worry free."
"Took my CX7 in to get a diagnosis on a noise coming from the turbo (common in this model). Message left on my voicemail that it was ready to be picked up. No care taken or warning given that I was about to receive advice that the turbo needed to be replaced and rear lights needed replacing which would come to $8500! Receptionist left to explain exactly what the problem was (which she couldn’t). In this situation and for that sort of quote I’d expect a mechanic to come and explain exactly what the problem was, what causes it and why it needs a full replacement. Instead, all I got from the receptionist was “better start saving”! A quick google search comes up with a replacement turbo for under $1000. Sure, it’s not a Mazda genuine part and labour must be added, but it’s still a long way off $8k. I’ll be going elsewhere thanks."
"Service department never answers the phone. Staff are rude. I ended up walking to the service department to ask for a quote they told me they need the VIN number of my car for an accurate quote which I didn't have on me at the time. I asked how should I get it to you? He told me to phone him, I then reminded him I've been trying for 2 weeks to call the service department but they never answer the phone, he then told me sorry so that's the best I can do! Since then I have mentioned this to a few other people and they said they had the same experience. Even the spare parts guy at Mazda said he can't call either. Place is a joke."
