Welcome to the Australian Institute of Kinesiologists Ltd, located in Olinda on McCarthy Road. Established in 1989, we are known as "The Institute" or "AIK Ltd" and are a democratic and open organization dedicated to representing Kinesiology and Kinesiology Practitioners across Australia and internationally. As an industry peak governing leader, we are committed to promoting and supporting the field of Kinesiology.

At AIK Ltd, we serve as a self-regulating industry peak governing body, providing support for education and training. We work closely with Kinesiology schools that are Modality Owners (MO) and/or Registered Training Organisations (RTO) to deliver recognized and accredited Kinesiology qualifications. This ensures that our practitioners are well-trained and equipped to provide the highest level of care to their clients.

Kinesiology is a non-invasive, client-centered, holistic, and integrative modality. Our Kinesiologists utilize muscle monitoring as a verification or biofeedback mechanism to identify anatomical, physiological, and psychological stressors within the individual. By obtaining feedback through muscle monitoring, our practitioners are able to apply non-invasive strategies tailored to the client's needs. This approach helps clients reduce physical, emotional, energetic, and mental stressors, leading to improved health and well-being.

Our practitioners may choose to work as independent practitioners or within professional centers alongside practitioners of different qualifications. We support our practitioners and members not only within Australia but also throughout the globe, fostering a community that shares knowledge and ideas.
