"I came to see Dr Matthias after a few early miscarriages and then taking ages to conceive again. Within 2 visits he was able to give me a few little tweaks with some medications to help conceive/ stay pregnant. I got pregnant right away and am now 22 weeks with a healthy baby. I found the receptionist to be lovely and helpful, they didn’t respond well to emails but with a phone call I would always get through right away. Definitely recommend seeing Dr Matthias."

"Dr Matthias treated my endometriosis with laparoscopic surgery. His advice was to treat the endometriosis minimally around the reproductive organs only to allow successful pregnancy without need for a large surgery or recovery. His surgery worked and I fell pregnant within 9 months."

"Dr Matthias is AAAAAAA+++ fantastic! I have suffered from infertility issues for over 10yrs unable to fall pregnant, and over 9 specialists who gave me different diagnosis without any results or explanations in terms of what was wrong with me, Dr Matthias was my next stop to see if he could assist me, and within 6mths of initially seeing him and following his treatment plan, i found myself pregnant and I am currently 23wks pregnant for the 1st time!!! It is nothing short of a miracle and i will forever be grateful to him for assisting my husband and I starting our family. Unfortunately, the receptionist is absolutely terrible with no customer service skills, I found myself constantly in tears and frustration because i had questions about what was happening to my body throughout this process, i would call and email to get some kind of answers, however my emails would be 'lost', phone calls wouldn't be returned, was advised to 'calm down, because I'm just being hormonal', the process is already emotionally draining, that i don't need to be told how I'm feeling or meant to be feeling, as much as I wanted to continue with Dr Matthias, once i fell pregnant I moved to a different Dr with a better reception team, which was a completely different experience, i get a call back or email on the same day with answers to my questions, whether urgent or not!! My advice would be to go to Dr Matthias for assistance to fall pregnant, then go somewhere else for post care assistance, and avoid the stress while you're pregnant because you don't need or have to accept it! I don't need a response to my review, it is what it is, I've moved on and happy for my little one, I'll be seeing you when I'm ready to fall pregnant with my 2nd child to go through this tango again and I'm not going to put my proper full name on a public forum. In Response - there is never any excuses that justifies rudeness and lack of empathy and it makes it even worse knowing the receptionist is meant to be qualified in 'mental health', I'd suggest further training may be required. I am at a different Drs surgery now and i have never been advised to make another appointment to answer what could be an urgent question (completely different experience!), and i never expected the receptionist to answer my question, i did expect for my question to be passed on and for a return reply out of pure common courtesy as promised, as opposed to be made to be feel like another number and forgotten. It doesn't take a genius to look at the other reviews to notice a common complaint of your rude receptionist irrelevant of her qualifications, so what was the point of me saying something in person when she is in charge of the appointments, kind of a double edge sword situation and I would have thought my tears over the phone would be enough to voice my issues, which I assure you it went on deaf ears!  Perhaps management need to be less defensive of constructive criticism to realise there is an issue that needs to be addressed, on one hand Dr Gamal is amazing and on the other hand his support team not so much unfortunately! It takes a good team to make a successful practice thrive and provide good customer service, while not stressing out patients with needless stress! This is simply coming from one humble patients personal experience, and your defensive response doesn't make you look any better..."

"Dr Matthias has so far been great he is no fuss and gets to the point. He has helps a relative conceive and they recommended him for my pregnancy doctor as well. Gywn the receptionist is also very very lovely she is always nice to me my husband and especially my son, she is very accomodating, organised even if I call her 4 times the same week because I have baby brains and forget my appointment day and time she always is positive and understands. She gives my son lollies and speaks to him and asks him questions which he enjoys. My son is also very cheeky but she never makes a scene and we all feel welcome there all the time."
