"Highly recommend that you get a draft invoice printed *when you drop off your car* so that scope of work and fee is agreed in writing and there is no risk of "miscommunication" about your booking. I cannot stress this enough after my experience. 27/07/23 update: Bridgestone and the store have been very conciliatory and done everything they can to resolve this complaint I made. There is a fair chance the "miscommunication" was genuine. I think my comment above remains as something I will always do in future with any mechanic, and recommend to others as good practice. Best not to perform hundreds of dollars of work on verbal discussions. (I emailed the store and still had a mix up). Given the sincere follow-up by the store, I would be happy going back there for car servicing, I'd just get a draft invoice to start."
"Money rippers!!! Couple months ago, on the way home I decided to come and get a pink slip at this place. Unfortunately, I did not get it. I did not get it at this place, but after I brought it to my mechanic the other day, he said that my car was completely fine for pink slip. It had some things, which will have to be looked at in a few months to fix, but at that time everything was working completely fine and still is to this day. But this place told me different things. They made me think that my car is in a very bad condition and that this car should not be on the road at all. It was my first time coming here and I think because they saw that I am young driver as well they decided to rip money from me. They told me that basically I need to fix everything underneath including "leak from automatic gearbox". I clearly can say that I never saw any drops in color red or brown(oil color for gearboxes) underneath my car after moving out of the parking spot. The only thing I saw was A/C liquid, which is water and which is completely fine. So these "professional" guys do not know difference between oil and water? My mechanic said that my gearbox is completely fine and there are no leaks at all. We had a look at it together. Not to mention other problems they pointed out during their "inspection" which were not problems at all or might need to have a look at them in a few months. Additionally, when they came back with my car they said that they could not have a look what's happening around my engine(thank god I did not need to hear all the lies they would have been able tell me), because the handle was broken. I have opened it few times before I came to this place and everything was completely fine. When I came back to my car, I saw handle dropped on the floor and broken. They broke front bonnet opening handle and did not take any responsibility for that. I can keep going with stuff they told me they need to change, which are not required to, but in the end they called me to say that to fix everything is almost $4000. As I understood it is only for parts. Highly not recommending coming here for pink slip, because getting a pink slip here is impossible. Afterwards, I heard some people saying to me that they like to do that, especially to young drivers, because they think young drivers don't know stuff about their cars. Unfortunately for them, I knew my car very well. In regards of reply I don't want to be in touch and discuss my experience. I wrote it there. I am not sure what kind of "high" standards you are implementing, but I can clearly say that these standards were not met with telling me that my gearbox is leaking, when it is not, and not taking any responsibility for braking the handle. If I did not have a look at gearbox later and decided to fix it at this place I would have paid money for nothing in the same way as I would have to pay for replacing the handle when it was not my fault. Guy came to me and straight told me that the front bonnet does not open, when I knew it clearly does and finding that handle dropped on the floor gave me conclusion that I will never step to this place anymore."
"Jason and his team have been looking after the servicing of our families' cars for the last 10 years and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Exceptional work, fair prices and great communication. We have never had to return to have something rectified following a service. It's always done right and done first time - exactly what you expect from a workshop. Brilliant!"
"Heroic job done by these guys, I can't say enough good things about them. I had planned to drive to Noosa from Sydney, via Bryon Bay. I had the car serviced here a week before, no problems. Then the afternoon before I was due to leave, I rocked up at 3pm with a cracked radiator. They got straight on it. Daniel's wife drove me home, they called at 5.30pm to say the new radiator was in, only the thermostat needed replacing as well, so they'd need to wait to get the part in the morning. I was on the road by 9am, a mere 2 hours behind schedule. I don't know where else I would get service like this. They checked my tyre pressures and oil as well, wished me a good trip - what a bunch of bloody legends!"
