As a registered charity, ARC Ltd is dedicated to combining research and advocacy to address pressing issues such as family violence, asylum-seeker needs, and mental health, with the ultimate goal of eliminating marginality in our society.

Statistics show that in Australia alone, over 2 million individuals have experienced physical or sexual violence from a current or previous partner. This alarming figure highlights the urgent need for organizations like ARC Ltd to work towards ending this cycle of violence and providing support to those affected. Additionally, with the rapid globalization and migration happening around the world, fostering greater community cohesion across all cultures has become imperative.

At ARC Ltd, we understand that children are greatly impacted by domestic violence. Shockingly, between 2017 and 2018, 26,500 children aged 0-9 sought homelessness services as a result of domestic violence. This saddening reality drives our commitment to creating a safe environment for all individuals, especially the most vulnerable members of society.

We are proud to announce that ARC Ltd will be hosting an event titled "The Public Health Impacts of Family Violence on Migrant Women" featuring esteemed speakers such as Professor Brett Sutton, Dr Adele Murdolo, Fabiola Campbell, and Ash Vishwanath. This event will shed light on the challenges faced by migrant women experiencing family violence and the public health implications associated with it.
