Ibn Masood Institute

Welcome to Ibn Masood Institute, located at Lakeside Drive in Roxburgh Park, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing a quality education in the memorization of the Quran, known as Hifz.

In the Quran, Allah reassures us that the memorization of the Quran is easy and accessible to all who seek guidance (Surat Alqamar 54 – Verse 17). Our knowledgeable Ulema have interpreted this verse to mean that memorizing the Quran can be achieved with the right guidance and assistance.

At Ibn Masood Institute, we have been successfully running our Hifz program since 1996. Our experienced Quran teacher, Hafiz Abdelhay, has been teaching in Australia since 1993. He received his primary education in Egypt and completed his high school certificate in Australia. Hafiz Abdelhay then traveled to Pakistan to further his studies in Ulum AlDeen and graduated from the Hifz faculty of Madrassa Arabia Raiwind. He has been teaching Quran ever since.

Our Hifz program runs from Monday to Friday, with morning sessions from 7.30 am to 12.30 pm and evening sessions from 5.00 pm to 7.30 pm. We also offer Saturday sessions from 9 am to 12.00 pm. To ensure a smooth learning experience, sessions must be booked in advance, so please make an appointment. We do not accept walk-ins.

Our program is open to both boys and girls, and we welcome men and ladies as well. We have female teachers available who work under the supervision of Hafiz Abdelhay. This allows for a comfortable and inclusive learning environment for all.
