Led by the experienced Jim Kennedy, our 4WD driver training will equip you with the necessary skills to handle sandy terrains, tackle tough beaches, and navigate challenging sand dunes. From basic vehicle operation to understanding maintenance and repair, our comprehensive course covers it all.
What sets Safetrek apart is our focus on utilizing modern driver assist devices, such as traction control, stability control, downhill assist, and crawl control, to ensure your safety and minimal environmental impact. We believe in training you in the great outdoors, so you can feel as comfortable and confident as possible.
Our courses cover a wide range of skills, including de-bogging, hill climbs, crossing obstacles, rivers, and side slopes. These skills are essential for your journeys into the stunning Australian outdoors. Whether you're an individual or part of a group, we have numerous options to cater to your specific needs.
The Basic course consists of a three-hour theory night at Mont Albert, held on Thursdays from 7.00pm to 10.00pm. The practical component is a full-day session, starting at 8.45am and concluding at 5.00pm at our Narbethong location.
