"Took my 5yo for her ears pierced today. I was drawn to Piercing HQ because of their emphasis on consent on their website and how they don't pierce children who cannot consent for themselves. The whole process was so supportive and Mieke continually checked in with my daughter throughout. My daughter opted to have one ear at a time but then was reluctant to get the second one done. Paulus came in to chat with her and talk to her about the process alongside Mieke. They were both fantastic. Her peircings were done perfectly and I think relatively pain free! No tears and she said they felt fine within 10 minutes. She's made up with the earrings and I'm made up that her first experience with piercings was such a positive one. Highly recommend. "I had my piercings with Laura who was so lovely and friendly. She explained everything and made me feel super at ease. Was a great experience considering I was having 2 needles being poked in my ear! The clinic was very clean and tidy as well. There was a slight issue with the technology when doing my form so the appointment started slightly late but they explained what happened and Laura was still cheery despite me being the last appointment of the day. Good aftercare instructions, I felt very looked after. They also provide follow up appointments free of charge to change the earring and if anything happens that needs extra attention I was informed I should come back to get it checked out. Super job team!"
