"My daughter had to leave this school because she was being bullied and kept quiet for over 2 years. She was seeing a counselor for this reason and had weekly sessions at the school (arranged by myself not the school) as her grades were dropping and she lost interest in being at school altogether. Eventually when she spoke up and reported the bully, the principal accused my daughter of lying!! I watched my happy bubbly girl slowly change into a sad withdrawn anxious girl and taking all my children out of that school has been the best thing we could have done. Shame on you Paul."
"Watsonia Primary School is a small school with a BIG HEART. We’re truly blessed to have loving and caring teachers. The Acting Principal Mr.Paul Johnson and all the staff members are amazingly supportive. This is a very supportive and wonderful school for children to flourish."
"This is the best school for: - My kid always wants to go to school, she loves her teachers and friends. - The principal, Ms. Martin is great. She knows every student name, his/her studying progress and character. She is very strict but friendly and professional. - The teachers are great. My kid knew nothing when arrived here. She is so shy too. But Ms. Skoulos, Ms. Wright helped her not only fluently use english but also confidently play & learn with her friends. - The office, like no other schools, always pick up the phone whenever parents ring, respond email fast, report every little thing happened to my kid at school. - The facility is clean, large enough and well maintained. Yep, it may need a little more investment to be more perfect. - Most of all, my kid loves studying here. She misses her teachers, friends and school when we have to move to another state."
"Needs more funding so they can get a better Library. Sad to see kids who cant read and speel very good. The school can be loud with the little ones perhaps keep them inside in intense learning environments so they can learn. They can be grubby walking past the locals and should take more pride in their uniforms."
"Very friendly people, great approach to bullying, the kids seems very happy there."
