"As a student in this school, its unfortunate to admit that teachers have miserably failed to teach basic knowledge, of which they fail to show understanding in themselves; while their main focus of this school, including the teachers, is to supress our beliefs and force the support of the LQBTQ community. As part of the program and survey of asking the students their main concerns and improvements for the school, they have again miserably failed to admit and confront the underlying issues that is spread across the toxic teachers and education system. I refuse to be taught by sex offenders in school (yes, he is our teacher and everyone knows who im talking about) teaching students including me, knowing no one in class feels safe around such individual who should now be allowed around students, and was backed up and supported by their mother (ex principal). The school needs to adress this issue, if not; The Department of Education will be informed."
"I go to this school right now, if you're a minority at ALL expect many of the students here to discriminate against you, on the other hand the teachers do seem to really care but don't do much when it comes to bullying"
"The worst school out there. They just sit back and don’t care about what’s going on out in the yard, for example they don’t react to bullying and other serious situations. Learning there is horrible, teachers teach the same thing to the same students all over again and don’t think to care about students well-being’s. the teachers there are so useless they do not care for students n some do bully students, picking on them, ect. I would not recommend going to this school because there’s so many students who don’t take care of their peers around them. Again I do not recommend going to this school cause it’s such a useless school."
"I have autism and went to this school for my secondary years. I also went to the primary campus in my early years. In primary school, my psychologist at the time gave some paperwork to the school on how to support me. The school said they would use it, but never did. I also had an OT in prep, and the school made her leave because she was “distracting the other students.” When she left, she was cross because she knew I needed help. With autism comes social ostracisation and bullying. I never learned how to mask my autistic traits which made me a target. In group work if the teachers paired me with people I didn’t know who didn’t like me I would be kicked out of said group or ignored. So in year 8 I stopped grouping with people who didn’t like me no matter what the teachers said. I felt like some of the teachers blamed me for being outcasted by the students. I was kicked, yelled at, and sworn at by other pupils in the school. In year 8, nobody cared or even knew that I was bullied by one person for almost an entire year. When I was alone outside, students would shout things at me. In year 9 they started doing this while I was inside. I tried to ignore them but it achieved nothing. Also in year 9, my therapist gave the school paperwork on how to support me. They said they would use it, but they never did and I was left waiting for when this support would come. To top it all off? A bit before I left, the teachers started saying, “eVeRYoNeS a LiTtLe biT aUtIsTiC” which caused other students to start saying they were autistic, and they were completely accepted while I was ostracised and excluded. If you are a parent of an autistic child, please do not send them to this school."
"This school is beyond useless. They respond poorly to bullying situations and conflicts. Their best way to discipline students is screaming, and on rare occasions, SWEARING at them. The principal is EXTREMELY rude. Also, she even reviewed her OWN SCHOOL with 5 stars. VCE opportunities are very limited, and the school is very poor, so implementing more opportunities will NEVER happen."
