Strathewen Primary School

Welcome to Strathewen Primary School, a small and charming institution nestled in the picturesque rural setting of Strathewen, Australia. Located approximately 13km from Hurstbridge and 9km from Kinglake, our school is situated at the bottom of the majestic Kinglake Range.

As you step onto our campus, you will be greeted by our award-winning gardens and grounds, which create a peaceful and nurturing environment for our students. Our school boasts two multi-age classrooms, each led by highly experienced and dedicated teachers. In one classroom, we have students from grades Prep, One, and Two, while the other classroom accommodates students from grades Three, Four, Five, and Six.

In October 2010, we proudly reopened our doors after a complete reconstruction, providing our students with state-of-the-art learning facilities. Our classrooms are spacious, flooded with natural light, and equipped with the latest technology, including interactive whiteboards. With two levels, our school also features a large multi-purpose room, an Art room/Science space, and covered all-weather outdoor learning areas.
