Dr Gzell is a regular contributor to leading national and international publications and conferences. She holds esteemed positions such as treasurer of the Stereotactic Interest Group of Australasia (SIGA), board member of the International Stereotactic Radiosurgical Society (ISRS), and senior lecturer at Macquarie University.
Before joining Icon, Dr Gzell served as a neuro-oncology radiation oncologist at St Vincent's and Macquarie University Hospitals from 2014 to 2022. During this time, she gained specialist expertise in the use of stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic radiation therapy techniques. Her clinical experience covers a wide range of solid tumor malignancies, with a particular focus on brain cancer, primary and secondary central nervous system (CNS) neoplasms, and benign intracranial and base of skull lesions.
