About the Business
Welcome to Footscray High School - Pilgrim Campus, located in Seddon, Pilgrim Street. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we are dedicated to providing a world-class education to our students.
At Footscray High School, we recognize and acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nations as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we teach and learn. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, as well as to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are part of our school community.
We understand the ongoing impacts of colonization on our First Nations people, particularly within the realms of education, health, and justice. We are committed to learning from our history and opening our minds and hearts to the strength, resilience, and pride of the longest living culture in the world.
Our school community is built upon values of unity, respect, creativity, and endeavor. We believe in working hard and working together in a positive environment, where each individual is engaged and empowered to discover their purpose and develop lifelong skills.
At Footscray High School, we prioritize providing an inclusive and positive learning environment where every student has access to a world-class education. We inspire young people to develop the essential skills required for their future pathways.
We believe that student wellbeing and learning are deeply interconnected, and we recognize that student wellbeing is the responsibility of all members of our school community.
Enrolments for year 6-7 transition begin in Term 1, with applications due in May. For students moving schools in other year levels, enrolments can be done via the enrolment form. We invite you to book a school tour to discover all that Footscray High School has to offer.
Footscray High School is proud to be part of The Footscray Learning Precinct, which champions excellence in learning and teaching in Melbourne's inner west. The precinct embraces the richness and diversity of the community, providing opportunities for learning in a whole new way.
The Victorian Government has shown its support for our vision by investing over $110 million since 2015 to build new campuses and modernize schools. The Precinct offers fantastic opportunities from early learning through to tertiary pathways.
Our Pilgrim Campus, purpose-built and designed for Junior 7-9 students, is one of the two campuses at Footscray High School.
At Footscray High School, learning extends beyond the classroom. We are proud of our rich and diverse co-curricular culture, offering extensive programs that inspire and challenge a myriad of passions and interests.
We are accredited under the Department of Education and Training's CRICOS registration, ensuring the highest quality education.
Finally, we acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations as the Traditional Owners of the land on which our campuses stand. We recognize and pay respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as Australia's first people, honoring the Elders both past and present.

"pull up bar good"
"why did they add toilets to the vape room instead of smelling like bubblegum it smells like Gilbert's tuna from last week"
"Why do the teachers tell me what do to lol,, like youre not my boss ?"
"Very bad. The entire campus looking like a shipping container, and 3 square meters of fake grass is honestly not that entertaining for 500 students to be in. Also, i understand that your school is broke but don’t make a school if theres no walls inside. Self explanatory."
"A half - baked, poorly conceived idea, designed by Maribyrnong council and the school board as a cheap stop gap solution, when a fully funded and fully equipped years 7-12 high school is sorely needed in the Seddon / Kingsville / Yarraville area. Speaking as a close proximity resident who doesn't have children, I can only imagine the exasperation of the parents and their children being offered this poor excuse for an educational facility. Half a basketball court for three years' worth of kids, and no green sport fields whatsoever? Joking. Clearly no case study was undertaken to adjust the road system to accommodate the increase in foot and road traffic. The Albert / Pilgrim Street roundabout is now a daily morning and afternoon rush hour choke point."
