At Lalor North Primary School, we believe in the power of language and cultural diversity. That's why we offer Greek and Macedonian bilingual programs, allowing our students to embrace their heritage and develop fluency in multiple languages. Our Greek Bilingual Program (Ελληνικό Δίγλωσσο Πρόγραμμα) and Macedonian Bilingual Program (македонска двојазична програма) are designed to foster a love for languages and create a well-rounded educational experience.

We believe that seeing our school in action is the best way to understand the unique learning environment we offer.
In addition to our academic programs, Lalor North Primary School also hosts a Playgroup every Thursday, where children can engage in stories, songs, and smiles. This provides an opportunity for families to connect and build relationships within our vibrant community.
We also acknowledge and respect the Traditional Custodians across Victoria, recognizing their deep and ongoing commitment to education through collaboration and knowledge sharing. "2stars for this school. My daughters teacher last year always yelling!! The principal Mr Williams didn’t care. Go to another school much better principal mr Robinson at Lalor primary school."
"Our kids have thrived at this school! So lucky to have such a great bilingual program a nurturing environment and caring teachers and staff that are like family. Highly recommended!!"
"My daughter just started prep here in the Macedonian program. She loves the school here and has already picked up a few words in the short time she started. Staff are all friendly and say hi in the morning."
"I was planning to enrol my children in the Greek program for next year but after witnessing the appalling delivery of the Greek language during remote learning with my friend who is at that school by the teacher Miss Katerina I won’t be doing that! I cannot understand how a bilingual program that offers Greek language every day employs a teacher who has limited knowledge of the Greek language. She cannot string a simple Greek sentence without errors, and has zero knowledge of verb tenses. She mainly spoke in English! Listening to her was sickening. Why has the principal allowed this to happen? My friend tells me the proper Greek teacher is on leave and the other Greek teacher who is wonderful and has good knowledge of Greek has the senior class."
"I have 3 kids and 1 more for next year attending Lalor North. They are in the Greek bilingual class and the learning is amazing. They all have excelled in both languages. I have taught them no Greek at all from home, so I can't begin to thank the Greek teachers enough. They do an excellent job and their teaching speaks for itself. If anyone is looking for a school that has 2 languages as part of their curriculum, I highly recommend this school. It is by far a much better option than sending your kid to a language school after normal school hours. You will not regret choosing this school for your kids. Thank you LNPS."
