In ancient Greece, the temenos was the sacred land on which the healing temples of Asclepius stood. Asclepius, the son of Apollo and the greatest physician of the ancient world, brought deep and divine medicine through dreams and unexpected cures. At the Temenos Wisdom School, we integrate the wisdom of the land, the power of deep dreaming, and the knowledge of the old ways.

Within each of us, our bodies hold poetry. They are the vessels of our life's story. However, sometimes illness, pain, and imbalance occur when these embodied poems are lost to our awareness. Our healing treatments aim to reveal, receive, and honor these stories that reside within us.

Throughout history, women have gathered in circles to support and uplift one another. These circles provide a space for sharing work, rest, laughter, and tears. They offer a platform for learning from each other, teaching one another, and creating a deep feminine wisdom grid that heals individuals, families, and the larger community. At Carroll Alison, we embrace this tradition and provide a nurturing environment for women's circles to thrive.

At the core of our institution, we integrate Jungian Psychology and shamanic practice. The Temenos College of Integrative Studies offers apprenticeship programs and advanced trainings for therapists and students of the healing arts.
