We operate on a term-based schedule, with Term 1 running from 30th January to 6th April, Term 2 from 24th April to 23rd June, Term 3 from 10th July to 15th September, and Term 4 from 2nd October to 20th December. Our school hours are from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, during the school term.

"Dromana primary school is one of the best schools ever . there is always something to do. When you are in. year 4 you get your own laptop and teachers help everyone. and there is heaps os space we have 3 playgrounds and we have got a new building that is amazing. And You Should PUT Your Children In To THIS AMAZING SCHOOL THANKS Very Much"

"Think twice before enrolling your child in this "school",all care no responsibility!!, Only 1 toilet block for a growing school of approx 400 ,,and with preps starting this year ,i don't even have word to describe the SMELL coming out of there and only cleaned once a day!,no duty of care where hygiene is concerned,,all preps have to start the day with a jog around the oval no matter how foggy ,,freezing cold or wet the grass is No playing on a clean dry playground for dromana primary preps.(well for my prep class anyway),and as my child says we ALL HAVR TO RUN ALL THE TIME!! OR WE GET YELLED OUT!! (BULLYING))do they need to run in winter in wet grass first thing in the morning and have wet feet all day ,, No wonder they are all sick and absent all the time !! Reflects on the school.. Then there is the once a week assembly venue ,that is held in "asbestos hall", Or as they like to say Keith Allen hall" There a perfectly good area at the stadium or outside but no everyone must be part of this cancer causing hall with its unsafe building cracks etc,assembly goes from 2.30 to 3.30 with some children having to stay for the whole hour ,,this also includes a prep class on occasion attending an hour , If u are curious about this school pls come on down on a Monday and watch how the assembly operates. I wish I had not of sent my kids to this school dont make the same mistake!!"
