"John blamed me after I was forced to return to his workshop three times to address repeated cases of faulty parts and/or workmanship. I had John replace my swaybar links as they were beginning to make a minor noise, but had not yet failed. Less than a week after the repair, one of the links failed as I was exiting a public car park driveway at less than walking pace and under completely normal driving conditions. I took the car back to John and he replaced the part a second time. Less than 24 hours later, the part failed a second time while exiting the same driveway under the same conditions. (This is a perfectly normal public car park driveway and is not steep or unusual in any way). When I returned my car to the workshop, John replaced the part a third time (a 20-30 minute job) and kept the car for the whole day and took it home overnight to road-test. I have no idea why he had to keep my car for that long, but I went along with it as I just wanted my car fixed as I need it for my job as a rideshare driver When I returned the next day to pick up my car, John essentially washed his hands of responsibility for the job and had the audacity to accuse me of four-wheel-driving in my Ford Focus, my primary business asset. I was at all times courteous and completely understanding of the situation as I know fully well that cars can be troublesome animals and that from time-to-time repairs don't go as smoothly as WE ALL WOULD LIKE. I never, at any point, gave John any attitude, but simply followed John's directions to drop-off and pick-up the car as necessary. This was only my second time doing business with John, but I'd genuinely hoped I'd found an efficient and reliable workshop to look after my business car and keep it on the road. Unfortunately, after the way I was treated, I'll have to keep looking."

"These people are experts in their field. I had a nagging rattle in the steering of my Hyundai Elantra for over 2 years. Hyundai service centres could not find any fault...so I thought I was just left with a noisy car and potentially an unsafe one. I turned to John of Turner Driveshafts & steering. "These guys are so professional. I was looking for Lower Control Arms for my car. Before approaching Turners, I took my car to most of the Mechanical Workshops I know but they could not give me a solution. These workshops said aftermarket Control Arms are not available for my car & therefore I have to go genuine which was going to cost me a fortune. A friend of mine referred me to Turners. "Bought a drive shaft for $400, they sent the wrong one out to me, even after having the engine and vin numbers supplied to them, then they tried to tell me they couldn't refund me because there was grease on the bearings and the casing had been lost, which I then proceeded to grab out of the box, then after some back and forth, they still only refunded me $300, bearing in mind that I lost 20 dollars due to delivery and another 20 to drive back out there and take it back, ended up $140 out of pocket with nothing to show for it, plus the attitude I copped from the owner from the moment I walked in there, then he had the hide to ask why I didn't want to get the broken one fixed through them, scumbags/10."
