With almost 50 years of experience, Ashwood Memorial Kindergarten has been an integral part of the Ashwood area. Our warm and encouraging environment provides the perfect space for children to learn, develop, and interact. Since our inception in the 1960s, we have remained committed to our ideals of family, community, and putting children first. These values have allowed us to grow and thrive throughout the years.

At Ashwood Memorial Kindergarten, we offer both three and four-year-old sessional programs. We take pride in our reputation for preparing our little ones for their journey into primary school. However, our focus extends beyond the children attending our kindergarten - we also value their families and friends. We believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and the families who are part of our Ashwood Memorial Kindergarten village become part of our community for life.

As a recognized funded kindergarten program, Ashwood Memorial Kindergarten proudly displays the Kinder tick, providing families with confidence in our program. Our curriculum includes exciting excursions that allow children to explore the local area and feel connected to their community. Additionally, our natural surroundings provide a wonderful focal point for play and learning. Children can engage in activities such as floating boats in the creek, collecting leaves, picking flowers, and exploring hidden gardens.

To enhance communication between educators and families, we utilize Storypark. This platform allows us to share news, service updates, progress, and exciting moments from kinder to home. Safety is a top priority at our Kinder, and we are official participants in the SunSmart program, ensuring our staff and children are protected from the sun.

Safeguarding children and providing safe and fun environments for them to flourish is paramount to us.
