"Ive waited a while to write this review, but was speaking about my situation and realised that it may be important for you all. I went in for a checkup, where a x-ray was advertised as included. But it wasnt given, because their machine was broken and so they sent me to a different site on another day, and then return to Clovelly Dental. That made 3 different appointments on different days instead of 1 because of their false advertising. But the worst thing was that after getting a cavity filled in one of my back molars, I couldnt put any pressure on that tooth anymore. Its like filling the cavity exposed a nerve or put pressure on it. Complete agony. The dentist did not know what was going on, and did try to shave my filling down a week later, but that didnt work. His idea then was that the tooth had coincidentally gotten new pain that has nothing to do with his filling (eye roll...) and since nothing else was working, the only thing left was to pull it out. Second opinion time. I went to another dentist and he said its insane to pull a healthy tooth. He said that it could be that the filling paste doesnt agree with my tooth, and using a different paste may help. I actually brought this information back to Clovelly Dentist so they could try and rectify the problem, but they said it was preposterous. Well, it wasnt preposterous. Cuz my new dentist grinded down the old filling and refilled the cavity with a new paste and the pain immediately stopped. Look, I dont enjoy writing these, and I usually wouldnt, but I really didnt like the false advertising (I dont have time to go to 3 appointments), but I REALLY dont like the fact that a healthy tooth would have been pulled out if I didnt spend way more time and money going against what is supposed to be a professionals opinion."
