Attwood Child Care Centre & Kindergarten

Welcome to Attwood Child Care Centre & Kindergarten, a play-based Early Learning Centre located in Attwood, Victoria. Situated on Mickleham Road, our institution is a point of interest and a school that offers quality child care services to the local community and staff members of the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources.

Our history dates back to 1992 when Attwood Child Care Centre was established with the help of a grant from the 'Victoria First' Work Based Child Care Program. Officially opened by the Minister for Community Services in December 1993, we have been providing exceptional child care since January 1994.

As a parent-run, community not-for-profit organization, the ACCCK Association Inc is governed by a Committee of Management. This committee consists of the ACCCK Director, a staff representative, representatives from the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources Attwood, and parents of children utilizing our services. This collaborative approach ensures that our values and goals are aligned with the needs and desires of our children, parents, staff, and the wider community.

At Attwood Child Care Centre & Kindergarten, we offer a 16 place accredited 3-year-old Kindergarten room, catering to children who turn 3 years of age before the 30th of April in the year of attendance. Additionally, we have a 22 place accredited 4-year-old Kindergarten room, catering to children who turn 4 years of age before the 30th of April in the year of attendance. Our programs are designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of each child.
