About the Business
Welcome to Keelonith Primary School, a Victorian government state school located in the growth corridor of Greenvale, Australia. Our school opened its doors on January 28th, 2021, making this our inaugural year. As the founding staff of this Supported Inclusion School, we are honored to be at the very heart of this vibrant community.
At Keelonith Primary School, we follow universal design principles to ensure that there are no barriers to learning accessibility for our students and their families. We believe in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
Child safety is our utmost priority at Keelonith Primary School. We are a child safe organization that welcomes all children, young people, and their families. We are committed to providing safe environments where our students feel valued, their voices are heard, and their participation is respected. We involve them in decisions that affect their lives to create a sense of ownership and empowerment.
The name "Keelonith" holds a special meaning to us. In the Woi Wurrung language, spoken by the Wurundjeri people, it means "to hear and understand." We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Wurundjeri people, the traditional owners of the land on which our school stands. We honor their elders, both past and present, and recognize their ongoing connection to the land.
At Keelonith Primary School, we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive educational environment that fosters a love for learning, celebrates diversity, and prepares our students for a successful future. We are excited to embark on this journey with our students, families, and the wider community. Join us as we build a strong foundation for lifelong learning and growth.

"Best school ever but lots of traffic"
"This school is my favourite school because because you can learn a lot more I this school than any other school and it's the best school ever! :)"
"I don’t like this school I enrolled my daughter and she needs extra support and they told me that they have all support for her and that they take students with learning difficulties and help them. I heard about it and felt like this school was my dream I enrolled my daughter there and I was happy, after two weeks the principle told me that you need to take your daughter from this school and didn’t give me time or to my daughter and she needed it. One day I went to pick up her sister from school, my daughter started panicking saying no to school because she can’t communicate she was stressed and crying. I’m not sure how the staff were communicating with her but it made her very anxious and stressed Thank you for the two week support"
