Welcome to Balnarring Preschool! Located in Balnarring, Civic Court, our preschool has been serving the community for over 60 years as a not-for-profit organization. We take pride in our dedicated teaching team, who collectively possess over 40 years of experience in early childhood education.

What sets Balnarring Preschool apart is our two unique programs designed to cater to different age groups. For 4-year-olds, we offer three sessions per week during school terms, totaling 15 hours. Meanwhile, our 3-year-old program consists of two sessions per week, providing 5 hours of education each week.

Our weekly schedule ensures a well-rounded experience for our students. On Mondays and Tuesdays, our 4-year-olds enjoy morning sessions from 8:30 am to 11 am, with Tuesday's session focused on nature-based activities. In the afternoon, they have the opportunity to engage in our afternoon program from 12 pm to 2:30 pm on Mondays and 11:30 am to 2 pm on Tuesdays, again with a nature-centered focus. Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are full-day sessions from 9 am to 2 pm, offering a mix of beach and bush programs.

For our 3-year-olds, the schedule is slightly adjusted. They attend morning sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 am to 2 pm, participating in the beach and bush program on Mondays. Wednesdays also provide a full day of learning from 9 am to 2 pm.

At Balnarring Preschool, we recognize and respect the traditional owners of the land, the Boon Wurrung of the Kulin Nations. We acknowledge their stewardship of the land and waterways and appreciate their sharing of knowledge and stories. We pay our respects to their Elders, both past and present.
