"A great pub, lots of different spaces, nice food and fantastic service. Chicken schnitzel was excellent, fresh panko crumbed breast. Salmon special was beautiful."
"Sat down at the pub’s inviting pavement dining for an impromptu lunch, with a guest from Chile and my little hound. Outdoor heaters were on for the winter’s day. Plenty of street parking at that time. I was impressed with the quality of the food, and the fast and friendly service. Can highly recommend the surprisingly classy battered barramundi and chips, and the delicious and healthy poached chicken salad."
"Great pub and atmosphere, had lunch here and the menu has lots of options with a pub classics section at reasonable prices. I got the fish, chips and salad for $22 which was really nice! only down side was beer in plastic cups which when poured the bartender mustn’t have realised it was half foam. Those cups must have only been for the Stanley Street Party that was taking place at the same time I visited, which is okay and I’ll definitely be back again soon!"
"We had lunch here on a Saturday. The setting was nice and the food delicious. Sitting upstairs outside with the sun shining through the beautiful leaves from the trees was lovely. I also loved that they had different items on the menu aside from your usual pub schnitzel and burgers. This was a lovely surprise! Food came out fast and was so yummy. The only downside, no kids menu, so it loses a star from me unfortunately."
"Terrible food with a side of dismissive service We came on the weekend on a rainy day. The Asian staff member who was working upstairs was extremely rude and dismissive. We had lunch and ordered the bangers and mash along with the chicken schnitzel. The mushroom gravy for the schnitzel was the same as the gravy for the bangers and mash. The gravy was watered down with mushroom pieces. There were bits of mushroom in the bangers and mash too. The guy who served me was on his phone whilst serving me and didn’t seem to give two hoots about taking my order. Our drinks came just before our food and it wasn’t busy. He was too busy playing with phone and couldn’t pour a beer and or make a gin & tonic. The food wasn’t great either. Under seasoned. Not sure how this place is 4.2 stars."
