"I would never ever buy anything from this place again, very unprofessional and rude staff, they abused me for a faulty product that they sold to me and i was trying to refund it after 5 days(only because the watch doesn’t work)and called the security on me ,even the security guy told me its your right to get a refund for a faulty item I trust the online shopping more than these kind of stores. I wouldn’t even give that one star if i could. The only way that they can rescue this store is changing all staff and change their policy. Their customer satisfaction is clearly shown on google review so be aware."
"BUYER BEWARE - - My fiancé purchased an engagement ring from their Eastland store in December of 2021. He proposed to me in mid January 2022 - After the proposal happened, we were ofcourse super excited to go get the ring re-sized to my finger! So we went to the store to get it sorted asap! - Once we got to the store, they did not measure my finger in order to get my correct size. They kept getting me to try on their other rings in the store, which I found a little odd. On top of that they would not be clear with me what size my ring would be resized too - I also asked for a specification sheet to confirm the validity of the ring and it’s specs, which they refused to provide. - We had no choice but to leave the ring in their hands to resize. - A week and a half later they call my fiancé to come and pick up the ring as it had been resized, but much to our dismay the ring was STILL TOO BIG (by a long shot). - We take it back, and I ask for it to be re-sized exactly to my finger and the store manager tells me she will bring it down a size. Even though she refused to measure my exact finger measurement yet again. - We felt like our hands were tied, but hoped that we would be third time lucky. - Get the ring back, and then still too big. By this point we are obviously very frustrated, considering the amount my fiancé spent on the ring, as well as the fact that they sold us an item we could not use for its intended purpose - We were told we cannot get it re-sized as it’s too dangerous to re-size the band again. It would also ruin the diamond setting on the ring - At this point they tell me that my finger is a size I (I for India) and the ring is a size I so there shouldn’t be any problem with the current size - I refused to believe and trust them, so we took the ring to another jeweller for a seccond opinion - The other jeweller is very professional and measured my finger at a size I (I for India) and measure the ring is a size J. They suggested that zammels should do one of two things: 1) make us an entirely new ring for my size 2) they can insert tiny white gold balls into the inside of the ring to make it the correct size - We go back to Zammels and tell them that they have been very dishonest with us. The woman laughs at us and tells us she knew but cannot make a new ring for us, and had never heard about the option of inserting white gold balls into the middle of the ring - We go home and decide to sleep on it to see what our next move was going to be. But, I for sure did not want zammels taking my ring away again in order to make a new ring up. I was very scared that they would under carat the ring or make another significant error which would leave us in a much worse position WHEN YOU THINK IT CANT GET ANY WORSE - The next day, I check the inside of my ring and I notice the code “SVVW” - I am curious so I Google the code myself, and find out it stands for “Simply Vera, Vera Wang” … and proceeded to find my EXACT ring from Vera Wang’s collection - The whole time they implied that this was their ring and that they had made it, when this is further from the truth. - They could not give us a new ring as this was an old Vera Wang collection, and they didn’t want to be honest with us. - They also didn’t tell my fiancé when he chose the ring that certain rings can’t be altered into too small of a ring size. - lucky for us: we were able to pay $150 with another jeweller to get the white gold balls inserted to make the ring fit. The ring now fits perfectly. - I would avoid Zammels and Mazzuchellis (another chain owned by zammels) at all costs."
"I picked up my ring today, and could not praise the shop enough. I chose a beautiful ring two weeks ago which was too big, and instead of the shop "resizing" and possibly ruining the shape positions of all the diamonds, they took the time to call me and explain why. This was then fixed by a new ring being sent from interstate to the Ringwood shop (within 4 days, amazing), where I received a phone call on the day or arrival, and I went to collect the next day. Beautiful Manager, who wanted to ensure my experience was positive and enjoyable. After spending a considerable amount of money, I don't feel that this experience would be any different even if I had only spent minimal money. THANK YOU, and thank you for my stunning ring. Lucy"
"Please be careful when buying your products from here. I just bought my earrings and bam! I lost it straightaway (which is partly my fault) but I don’t know how it happens and realised that the lock was not securing enough the front earring. I’m very very disappointed and came back to store at Zamels in Ringwood in just less than 30 minutes from purchasing the product but told me to buy another pair which is I don’t need another pair ( I only need one). I will never ever come back to this place or ever recommend this store. The customer service was good when I purchase the product and when it comes to asking for another option to get another just one earring (there was no care at all on their faces)."
"Absolutely disgusting customer service, and would not recommend to anyone. My partner purchased my engagement ring through the Ringwood store (VIC) which is meant to be a very exciting time for us but has turned out to be the complete opposite. We returned the ring after unfortunately it was 1 size too big, we asked for it to be special ordered and we're happy to wait 4-6 weeks as advised previously. the team member INSISTED they would try and find the size in another store before they ordered it to avoid the long wait time. 1 week passed and we heard absolutely nothing from the store, we then phoned to receive an update and were told that 90% of the stores had replied to their "email" and no one had it in stock but there are a few more stores yet to respond, several more days passed and still no correspondence from the store so my partner then decided to go in store to get an update. He was told that no one had stock and she would order it on the Tuesday because that is when that particular staff member was back at work, (he went in store on the FRIDAY!). I called the store to discuss why the ring couldn't be ordered any earlier i was told "because it's a Friday afternoon", i then asked for her to have another staff member order it as soon as possible and was promised this would be done on the Monday morning. 7 weeks has now passed since we initially returned the ring to the store and have yet again received no information, calls, any follow up what so ever. funny how you're happy to take full payment have the original ring in your possession including paying for an additional extended care package which we are currently paying for yet dont have the product and have continue to have disgusting customer service. all we asked for was a phone call to advise it had been ordered and when we called to follow up we got told "i told you i would order it". I have since contacted head office to receive some sort of update who have advised the ring was never ordered on the Monday like promised by the "store manager" and ordered when it suited them. we have now been told it wont be delivered to the warehouse for another 4 weeks. We are completely disheartened by the lack of care, compassion and way in which this manner has been dealt with. and will never be recommending Zamel's to anybody."
