"I've been here three times now, and three times I have left disappointed. Most of the food is overpriced and average. I ordered the chicken sandwich the other day, and the salad in it had not been washed properly, and I kept crunching on sand. My mum had eggs on toast, and no flavour or seasoning was added to the eggs. The coffee is pretty good and there was a young blond guy who served us who was very friendly and helpful which is more than I can say for the rude young brunet girl working the till. The cafe itself is small and stuffy and always very loud."
"Had to write a review for this place. Probably the best shashuka I have ever had. I do prefer chorizo but after having this it’s just not necessary. It did have mince with goat’s cheese and a thick flavoursome sauce. My friend had the cold cauliflower salad which also tasted great! Love the roasted cauliflower. Also love a good quality chai which was the calmer sutra brand which is my favourite. My friend loved their coffee as well. Great place, go try it, I recommend it! Plus two empty bowls show we loved it. Also loved the bread they gave with the shakshuka, it was perfect!"
"Great place, good coffee and brownies. Strawberry and cream croissant was excellent. The staff were extremely supportive and helpful, smiling and constantly checking up. They even helped us move indoors after it got chilly outside."
"TLDR: service sub-par, good food but over priced, cutlery dirty. Came here on a Saturday just before midday. Staff we’re running around like headless chooks. There were patrons-to-be standing everywhere it was hard to tell where to go. Eventually figured it out. Took ages to get menus. When I asked for them, I also asked for the heater to be turned on and waiter said he’d get some water. Neither happened till I asked someone else. Drinks were good - what you’d expect I guess. Although both teaspoons weren’t too clean. I got the Laffa Arayis. It was delish - highly recommend. Only downside is the price - $28. That’s $4 per mouthful."
"This is possibly the worst experience I've ever experienced in my life in Melbourne. Firstly, it took 25 minutes to take order. After we order, we're waiting for our food, and then a side from my order is no longer available. Fine, I order another dish. The dish comes out relatively quickly but, unfortunately, is horrible. The pomegranates didn't even look like pomegranates, the haloumi and bacon tasted like pure smoke, one of the eggs was hard boiled - definitely not poached. I will go out of my way to tell everyone to avoid this place."
