"Got the pork katsu poke bowl… it was a bowl of sadness. It really needs a deeper bowl because it was so hard to not drop anything on the table when the bowl is so shallow. The portion was small for the price - the rice was like 3 spoon. Overall very disappointing and unsatisfying."
"I had a salad with tonkatsu which was ok, my family has the katsu sando and weren’t satisfied at all. The katsu was thick, over-cooked and somehow managed to also not be crispy. Quite disappointing, they didn’t finish it. Lots of other customers I noticed also didn’t finish their sandwiches. I think the menu and the venue are exciting and could really be something, the food though struggles to keep up. Coffee was good at least. I have to say something about the staff though: they were all so happy. Everyone from the kitchen staff, servers, barista…all had a smile on their faces and enjoyed working with each other. It’s something rarely seen in any workplace. I hope with this positive energy and attitude that they can turn this cafe around and make it into something better. I look forward to revisiting one day and re-rating this post."
"The cafe sits lovely in a plaza and guests can enjoy the small fountain there. The muesli bowl tastes fresh and yummy, and scrambled egg was cooked nicely. They have highchair so my daughter enjoyed the brunch as much as I do."
"The breakfast was right portion and well presented. The milkshake was very sweet and highly flavored though."
"A nice and casual brunch spot. I got a pulled pork toastie. The apple slaw was so refreshing and the pulled pork was so flavourful. I think this had way too much chipotle sauce though."
