About the Business
Welcome to Normanhurst Child Care Centre, located at 66 Denman Parade in Normanhurst, Australia. As a licensed multicultural Centre, we are proud to cater for up to 48 children aged 0-6 years. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment where children can become active learners, exploring and learning through a wide variety of experiences and activities each day.
At Normanhurst Child Care Centre, we believe in incorporating the interests, observations, and input of both the children and their families into our program. We follow the Emergent Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework to ensure that each child's individual needs and interests are met. We strongly encourage family involvement and strive to create a strong link between the home and the Centre.
Our Centre consists of three classrooms - the Possum Room for children aged 0-2 years, the Koala Room for children aged 2-3 years, and the Emu Room for children aged 3-5 years. Each class is run by experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educators who are dedicated to providing the highest quality care and education.
We understand that choosing a child care centre is an important decision, which is why we invite you to make an appointment to come in, meet us, and see our Centre for yourself. We believe in transparency and want to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident in choosing Normanhurst Child Care Centre for your child.
Our fees are competitive and inclusive of breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, education programs, and nappies. Please note that fees are subject to change from 1st January 2024. We offer full-day sessions from 7.00am to 6.00pm, with different pricing tiers based on the age of your child.
To enhance communication and engagement between educators, children, and families, we utilize a secure mobile-based portfolio platform called the Eikoh Child Care Centre App. Developed in partnership with OWNA Corp Pty Ltd, this app allows educators to share photos, videos, stories, and reflections in real time. Parents can read and respond to posts, upload photos, and stay updated on announcements and diary dates. Rest assured, only families with children enrolled in the Centre will have access to the app, which can be accessed via iOS (Apple) or Android enabled devices.
Normanhurst Child Care Centre also receives support from the NSW/ACT Inclusion Agency, an initiative of the Inclusion Support Programme funded by the Australian Government. This support ensures that our educators are equipped to provide inclusive care for all children, including those with additional needs.
We are dedicated to providing the highest quality developmental care and education for each child, supported by a team of qualified and experienced early childhood professionals. If you have any further questions or would like more information, we invite you to visit our website, where you can find information for parents, answers to frequently asked questions, and details on how to enroll your child.

Reviews
"This child care center is a great place for kids! The staff is friendly and caring, and the facilities are clean and safe. The children have a lot of fun playing and learning with each other, and the center provides nutritious meals and snacks. Overall, it's a wonderful place for parents to entrust their little ones."
"Extremely rude manager. She spoke to me at the door and was very unhappy to spend a minute answering my basic questions about the waiting lists, availabilities , etc.. Took my money with the waiting list form and never called me back. I rang them twice to ask if a position is available and they answered in the most disgusting way. Such a shame cause we live down the road from this child care . I have told every mums out there to avoid this place . Shame on you"
"Best daycare in terms of facility, staff and program. Can’t recommend it enough."
"Fantastic childcare with great friendly staff who look after the parents needs as well as the children. Couldn't recommend them more."
