"We had high hopes for this daycare but over the course of 2 years they went through 5 directors & multiple teachers until there was only one demographic of teachers within the daycare. We weren’t treated as equals to the parents that were of the demographic within the centre, the whole experience felt very transactional. Upon pick up our kids would be excited to see us & on multiple occasions I would see the teacher pull on their arm to sit them down or they would raise their voice to tell them to be quiet rather than look to see what they are excited about & greet us properly. The only time I would get any calls would be to tell me what my child did wrong - one time it was because my child (3) switched plates with a kid that had anaphylaxis the teacher asked me to speak to my child about it because the other kid could have died - i’m not sure why this became my responsibility when they are there to supervise, I wondered how my child was even able to swap his plate at all considering someone should have been closely monitoring. Our kids would frequently be sent home with very mild symptoms, the final straw was when they tried to tell me my son had conjunctivitis & had to go home but our Dr confirmed it was a stye - the next day they sent him home again for diarrhoea where he had to be home for 2 days yet did absolutely none at home? The centre is severely understaffed & does not adhere to the appropriate ratios in order to teach & care correctly, the centre is merely just surviving & ensuring kids don’t die. We took them out of box hill with the hopes of starting them at Brightly Tallawong again hoping it would be different - we were told 4 weeks which turned into 3 months of our kids being at home, we ended up finding a new daycare & only until we started at this daycare we realised how poorly our kids were being treated at Brightly we feel terrible about the amount of time our kids were under the care of such an incapable centre, we strongly suggest any parent looking to send their children to Brightly reconsider they work unethically & unprofessionally"

"Brightly is a great center, our daughter absolutely loves going there and their commitment to learning is like no other. There have been quite a few staff changes however communication through it all has been consistent. The manager Neha wears many hats but is always happy to stop and answer any questions we have at the end of the day. We were concerned about moving from our previous daycare because of an existing medical condition but our concerns were heard and the staff are absolutely great at managing her condition. My daughter calls most of the teachers her best friends, leaving your child with other people is not something parents ever want to do but they make it easy and I can go to work with peace of mind she is with people that genuinely care and love her.
