"This place is an excellent little local cafe. Great coffee and food at good prices and really nice l, welcoming staff! As for the numerous bad reviews on here, I would say, whether genuine or not, they are way off base in my experience. If you're unhappy with the offerings of a cafe or don't understand their decisions, try communicating and make an effort to understand before leaving reviews of this kind for a local hospitality business striving to offer great food service in an area that has very few unique dining options. If you're still not happy or don't agree with their choices, simply don't come back. Spreading your negativity online may make you feel important for a very brief moment but it is simply ignorant, vindictive and petty and hurts the local community by limiting the options for businesses to grow. Coming from a hospitality background myself, I can completey understand the frustration of dealing with unreasonable expectations of hospitality customers. Reading through some of these ridiculous reviews, I can only say that their comments seem to say a lot more about the people posting them than they do for the business they have targeted."

"Ok. I have definitely changed my view about this coffee shop. Not only is it that the owner is rude and obnoxious, but he also can’t make up his mind whether he wants customers to come and sit down and enjoy breakfast or whatever, as the tables are there one day, then the next day they’re not. I used to really like coming here. It was quiet and restful. Either that, or the owner has a personality disorder or has an issue with the type of people he wants in his shop. Clearly it’s not me. I am not the only one who has had issues with this Sam person and I’m sure that I won’t be the last. No, Don’t worry, I will not be going into your shop again. Learn how to treat people respectfully and not judge them at face value."

"I think this café genuinely tries to create something different but it just doesn’t work. It’s not bad it’s just not for everyone the bacon and egg burger came half, half so I had to put it together that’s not a great idea. The burger is too big and the burger is too hard to eat. I just think this cafe needs to really keep it simple. Nobody wants to be writing these reviews keep it simple the burger bread is for a hamburger not a bacon and egg burger that’s more like a brioche for a bacon egg burger. I hope you all the best make the food easy to eat not oversized and difficult to understand"

"This cafe was my absolute favourite, you could get delicious eggs Benedict and it was great. Went the other day and was met with an owner who said they have no food and when I asked if they still bacon eggs Benedict I was told no? Owner comes across so cranky, won’t come here again which is sad because it was such a good breakfast place."
