"Autoclinic performed a pre purchase inspection on a car I was looking to buy, with the previous owner of the car being a regular customer at the shop. I was happy with the service Ben provided, as he was quick to answer any questions I had regarding the car. A particular question I asked was whether the car had any oil or coolant leaks from the heads / head gasket area, to which I was told no leaks were seen. Informed by the pre purchase inspection, I decided to buy the car. Upon getting the car registered and inspected with my local mechanic, I had the unfortunate news that they discovered the head gaskets were leaking oil and coolant, and that eventual repair would be required. This repair will cost me well over $5000 to have this work done. While I was happy with the service I received, I am very disappointed that this issue was missed, as if I had known, I most likely would not have purchased the car."
