"Was sent here from the Coburg shop as my Bull Bar allow nudge bar has become lose. I lodged a job with AAMI and they said I could go in the following day for assessment. Have arrived at Thornbury and the guys were super attentive. They had a look and asked if I had some time to wait they’d fix it straight away. Having dealt with a few panel beaters over the years , admittedly this is probably the best service I’ve received in my 34 years of driving and having repairs done. They even made me a coffee while I waited. Ferdi was amazing - great customer skills and great communication!! The bar was fixed and all is great !!!!"

"The worse smash repairs about. Just fill it with bog. My vehicle got repaired at smart Thornbury after a rear end. They just filled it with bog that started to crack after a week. Had to go back a second time. Another two weeks without a vehicle. Now I've just noticed the repair or the repair has started to bulge up. I now need to get it repaired a 3rd time. Also smart damaged my car in another place on the first repair (big dent in the door) and sent it back on the tow truck with a obvious dent. No QC. Please hope you can choose a different repair place with your insurance. Picture of the failure to the repair that was repaired that now has to be repaired."
"Overall very disappointed by the service I was provided at capital smart Thornbury. Customer interactions was probably the only up side. I was sent to capital smart Thornbury by shannons insurance, which I pay top dollar to insure my car through! Minor repairs to my bt50 4x4, turned into the biggest headache! First of all, the wrong bullbar was ordered and put on the vehicle, then when they tried to fit the original flairs, they wouldn't fit. Trying to save them time and hassle taking off the new bullbar and sending it back, I suggested different flairs. Which they were happy to do (not so happy about changing the back ones, as it's not part of the claim). Anyway after a discussion about the size having to be right so they don't interfere with the indicators in the guards! The wrong ones, once again were ordered!!!! And instead of consulting with me, they decided to go ahead with it anyway and cut a hole in the flair for the indicators. Overall leaving me with a very unprofessional looking car and a very long defect list. To top it off, now I have no radio to listen to. Yes for some reason my aerial was unscrewed and not put back on. Very poor workmanship carried out! No wonder these SMART shops are quickly gaining a terrible name for them selves."
