"Beautiful restaurant to have a cup of coffee and breakfast. Went there in the morning and not very crowded so we could be able to slowly enjoy our breakfast. We ordered taro latte and it’s really yummy. However, the staffs were not very attentive to us so each time we had to go all the way to inside the restaurant to call them because the restaurant is big."
"Came here for my mother's birthday, we ordered about 7 meals and they all came out separately. Took 45 minutes for us all to be able to eat together which some were cold by then. We ordered 2 of the fish burgers and one was literally half the size which was so disappointing as you pay the same amount. The staff were nice but we're completely lost, you see them wandering around with a plate trying to find you. There needs to be an overhaul of the table system, especially if you want to have a place that large. I also asked if I could put a suprise cake in the fridge till after we had eaten, which wasn't a problem. When we asked for them to bring the cake out... they came to the table with plates first... and cake 5 minutes after.. so it ruined the moment. Food tasted fine, but wasn't worth the wait ."
"Revitalising river views in this Victorian revamped kitchen and bar, tucked away on a sharp turn off the great western highway over the bridge. It was a beautiful morning when we visited, and many sprawled outdoors dining, enjoying the scenery and company. There's a few private spaces, open dining areas, and external seating. Food is moderately priced and quality moderate, too. I had the chocolate Belgium stack pancakes with chocolate peanut butter protein shake with baileys. Service was tentative, afterwards, we took a walk over the commuter bridge next to the venue. You could easily host a wedding reception, birthday, or gatherings here."
"When arriving to emu hall be careful if you are coming from Penrith over the bridge as you can easily miss the turn into the driveway. We visited Emu Hall on a quite night during the week. We sat out the back in the restaurant for dinner. We dined as a group of 6 and have to say the service was slow even though it was not busy. The drinks took 15 mins to get the table and after sitting for half an hour we had to call a waiter over to order. The meals were delivered quickly once ordered and were all meals were as described on the menu. Fresh and tasty but over priced for what you receive and the level of service you would expect more for what you are paying. I would visit again to the venue another opportunity to turn my experience around and see if it is any different. The location is what the stars are for. Beautiful grounds and lots of seating outside in the fresh air. Perfect for a afternoon watching the sun set. So many ideas come to mind what this venue could do with the location that they miss to do."
