"Yan is a DODGY backroom of a fish & chip shop ‘repairer’. My iphone battery needed replacing, he charged $60, I took it home where it kept getting hot and running out of power fast. Took it back and he kept telling me not to put it places where it would get hot, like windows and in the car. I hadn’t been, he kept insisting I had, so I went to Fix my Stuff in Somerville (a proper shop) and they said they have been getting heaps of COMPLAINTS about a guy in a fish & chip shop in Rosebud! FmS said a dodgy chinese battery was installed and in settings showed that battery health was poor. They said to take it back so Yan could remove battery and get a refund, where he kept insisting that I was making it hot, but would replace for free (I told him I’d been to FmS). I got the refund, went back to FmS and for $60 (same as Yan) had a PERFECT battery installed."
"Had iPhone screen replaced and since then phone has been faulty. Finally had chance to take it back and they refuse to repair saying screen is scratched ! Don’t trust them !!!"
"My iPhone needed a new battery and possibly a new charging port. He replaced the battery in no time and the phone is like new. Yan could easily have just said I needed a new charging port too, but he just cleaned the phone instead and that works perfectly too. He is a fantastic operator. Thorough, reasonably priced and local! I’ll always go back to him now. Thanks again Yan."
