"I recently used this service for my purchase from an Australian auction house. The item I purchased was a framed picture and I was so happy with the service I received. The payment process was straightforward. This was something I did not encounter with the auction house itself. The parcel also arrived extremely well packed with its precious cargo intact. It was a leap of faith to expect the framed picture to arrive from Australia to the UK without any damage. I am so delighted that there were no issues at all. "AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm really surprised at all the 5 star positive reviews for the Balmain Branch. We sent 3 large boxes from a Melbourne branch, and they arrived at the Balmain store a day earlier than we asked them to arrive (and it cost over $400). The Balmain staff called and demanded we come right now, they were not going to hold them overnight. In fact, they refused to even bring them inside their shop. So they left our boxes of irreplacement handmade Christmas decor (for an event) on the street unsupervised. See the photos. I would not recommend sending anything valuable or irreplaceable to Balmain and after trusting Pack and Send, I'll rethink that too after this awful, stressful experience. The staff were so unpleasant and rude, there's just no need to treat people with such disrespect. We had to scrable to get them, it was so stressful, trying to arrange a van to pick them up early (extra cost, stress and time) knowing our valuables were just sitting there on the street. We got our boxes, but so could anyone else have! No one was around when we managed to pick them up, we just took them, no ID, no checking. We literally just took them off the street.  That is the opposite of good service. Response to your response: there was plenty of room in the store. We offered to bring them in (while we went to sort out transport). They wouldn't let us bring them in."
