"I love sukiyaki so much that I have visited this restaurant 5 times. But today was the worst meal ever. When I brought my Japanese and Thai friends to this restaurant, I only had good memories, so I brought other friends after a long time. We ordered 3 highballs, Beef Sukiyaki Hot Pot, Stir Fried Noodles, Chicken Yakitori, Eel Skewers, Wagyu Beef Skewers. At first, the high ball came out, so I started drinking with excitement But the highball flavor was bland and there was no sparkling. The taste of highball was the worst compared to other restaurants There was only a slight taste of whiskey and lemon, but it was just lemon water. There was no carbonation. One out of three really tasted like water, so I talked to a female manager and asked him to change it. And I asked him to bring me water, so I said okay, but he didn‘t give me water even after waiting for 10 minutes, so I asked if I could water another employee again. Second, Sukiyaki came out and the meat was too big to share, so I asked if I could cut it in half, so the female manager went into the kitchen with the meat, saying okay, but the meat was not coming out again no matter how long I waited. At first, I thought it was because I was busy, so I waited, but 20 minutes passed, but the meat didn't come. So I called another employee to explain the situation. he third side menu and stir-fried noodles began to come out, and the food was served very slowly, and all the hot foods were served cold. I wouldn't have been this disappointed if I had eaten it for the first time in this restaurant. But it was a good restaurant, so I was really sad that it changed. Last, An hour after ordering, Wagyu Beef Skewers didn’t come out to the end. So we didn‘t have enough time, so we eventually called in the manager and asked for cancellation."
"Tried to walk in but got stopped by the manager Daniel starting that they are 'fully booked' due to a promotion 50% when you book on 4th April. I then went onto the website the fork and saw that the restaurant has tables available at all time slots (30minutes). Ended up booking the table (no promotion) and went back to face a disgruntled Daniel. Requested to change to a booth table but was refused by Daniel saying that table had been booked by others, but finished my dinner in an hour and a half and the booth table is still empty. Sat down at the table for 15 minutes and no one to take our order so I had to walk up to the front and grab attention of the staff but I found that there were only 2 waiters busy with other tables. Food was mediocre at best and serving portions of meat were quite miserable. Got the tofu teriyaki but the outer crumbs were soggy. Wagyu hot plate had a tad of odour, and it was cooked with Brussel sprout a very odd pair of combination. The mackerel was good but the bottom bit got burnt making the fish taste quite bitter. The only redeeming factor was the scallops sashimi, it had a sweet taste to it showing it freshness. The beef tataki taste is pretty bland the sauce combination and the amount given is inadequate. This is a place I would not go in future even if it was 50% off, even worse I paid in full that day. 112 dollars for those dishes. Disappointing"
"Quite difficult to find and place is a little old with the worn down benches and damp smelling private rooms but the food came out very fast and it was very delicious. Soft, fresh sashimi and wagyu hot plate was so fatty."
