Reviews
"1 star is for the kids books available in the practice. We booked to show our son and was charged to see a provisional psychologist. After 2 sessions, we were naturally expecting to hear on the assessment but we heard ZERO words. When asked about it, we were told to book and pay for another half an hour just to hear the initial assessment! It was a complete shock, waste of time and money and most questionable service we have received. We should have read the other negative reviews!"
"I am impressed with quality of service provided by Quirky Kid clinic. The staff is skilled and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to others looking for such a service."
"I had high expectations but service is insincere and taking advantage of people at their most vulnerable times. Just read all their responses to negative reviews. Passive aggressive, dismissive and patronising. Edited to add: You’ve taken time to reply publicly (with inaccurate information) but I am yet to receive a call back from Leonardo or Kimberley after my calls last week."
"Great experience dealing with Leonardo from The Quirky Kid Shoppe. Quick replies to my emails, keeping me up to date with an order I'd placed. Really glad I found their online store with books and resources for parents/teachers."
"Business clearly run to maximize profit. After being on the waiting list with them, we get offered a spot at time of the week we could attend. The week after committing to them and paying the fee for the initial assessment we are told that the spot is not available anymore due to the clinic now being closed on that day. Pretty sure they knew that before offering us the spot, but opted not to tell us so that we would commit with them. We rescheduled our week to be able to attend the new spot, just to be told that actually there was no availability at that time for many weeks. We are then told that the psychologist is leaving anyway and that we have to reschedule everything. We decided not to bother. Now that we have found another psychologist at another clinic, we ask for the information about our son to be shared with the new psychologist. The response is that it's going to cost us the price of the session for them to gather the information and send it to us. Really bad experience with this clinic and couldn't get the chance to see if the psychologist were any good (after paying over AUD 800-1000 of fees with not much to show for it)."
