"I am fortunate to be tutored by Miss Olivia, who is a wonderful and special person. I struggled to keep up with my classmates in English, and especially in writing, before taking her classes. My writing skills have improved considerably since I began taking her classes, and I was one of the lowest students in English to rise to the top. Thanks to her training, I felt confident and ready during the Selective test. I have received an offer from one of the top selective schools in the state. Those looking to improve should definitely consider attending her classes."
"Olivia is a wonderful tutor who has been tutoring me for almost 10 years. She has always taken time to clearly explain grammar techniques, help analyse literature and text along side me as well as review essays and creative pieces. It's the small things that Olivia helps correct that prove tremendous in results. Though Olivia's guidance, I was able to get a Band 6 for English Advance in the HSC, something that I thought wasn't possible. No matter how busy the week is Olivia is always there to help if you're willing to put the effort in."
"Olivia is a wonderful and effective tutor. Olivia's tutoring dramatically improved my son's naplan English from low band 5s in the English subjects in 5th class to band 8 in year 7. Olivia provided my son with the skills and tools to write well in any situation which has contributed to my sons good results in all his high school subjects ."
"ALA is a wonderful centre. The tutors are highly qualified, dedicated and best of all they make learning fun! So much better than any services I've found before. My child looks forward to his weekly lessons for both literacy skills and reading. His tutor is also a qualified teacher so this is very different to a lot of other tutoring centres. After a year of tutoring, my child's progress and improvement in his learning and abilities is nothing short of amazing. He was severely behind and struggling in his literacy skills and reading in Kindergarten. Now in Year 1, my child's progress and improvement is 360 degrees better after receiving ALA tutoring and support. I highly recommend ALA particularly for children who are behind and struggling in their learning, literacy, reading and academically at school. I also thought initially that ALA tutoring costs were expensive as compared with other tutoring centres. However, ALA tutoring lessons are worth every cent and more since the tutoring lessons are actually effective and work! We tried other tutoring lessons and centres prior to joining ALA and received no results or progress in my child's learning or academic struggles. So much better to pay for tutoring lessons for my child that actually work!!"
"Ollie has been tutoring our son Brandon for about 6 years now, after he found himself very much behind in his literacy skills in kindergarten. From my very first conversation with Ollie, she really understood where Brandon was at and made us feel hopeful that she could help him. Over the time Ollie has been tutoring Brandon, Ollie has become part of our family and has helped Brandon catch up with the other kids in his class which has been a great relief for us and Brandon. Ollie genuinely cares for the wellbeing of Brandon and I would highly recommend that you meet Ollie before considering other tutors."
