"edited to add 30/06/2023 I've been coming to this clinic for over 2 years , and on several occasions have been spoken to very condescendingly by Veronica the receptionist, seeing as its my regular GP and the doctor and other staff members are amazing, I usually ignore it and don't take it personally. However yesterday there was an incident where she called me back after I had spoken to another receptionist who agreed to squeeze me in if i came in (at which point i requested a phone consult), telling me it couldn't be done over the phone, after getting her to confirm with the doctor I said I'd come in and she unprofessionally kept arguing with me telling me the squeeze in was only for a phone consult, I kept trying to explain I had asked for the phone consult but the original plan was for me to come in, and she kept repeating herself, despite me asking her to ask the other receptionist. Once she FINALLY did, she said ' ok well if you're going to come in you need to sit there and be patient ok? there is no appointment for you, if you're going to come in you need to be patient' my issue isn't with what she said, because the other receptionist had already explained that, but the tone this lady constantly speaks in, like you are a child or beneath her and was as if she was annoyed at the fact she actually had to honour the other receptionists words. She kept repeating the forms I needed filled out, weren't a matter of urgency and when I explained my son desperately needed the surgery, ( he has been on antibiotics almost fortnightly, and we are contant visitors here) and also as confirmed by Dr Abdul on Tuesday so to ME it was a matter of urgency, instead of understanding that explanation and that I was clearly stressed out mother with a sick toddler, she kept repeating it wasn't urgent to them and invalidating my concern for my son and my words, when I advised her she was being very rude and it was her tone not words, she simply responded ' yeah well'. Had the other receptionist called me back and said i needed to come in, this situation would have never happened. And i really hope Dr Abdul takes note of that. To add insult to injury, Dr Abdul then tells my husband, to advise his wife to calm down instead of figuring out what had actually happened. I have never had an issue with anyone else at this centre or with him and thought I got along with them all very well, so was very surprised and hurt by him for this comment. Its a shame because I like Dr Abdul and he is so good with my kids, but its upsetting he didn't take the time to understand or remedy the situation from one of his regulars who you would think he knows, he just appeared to take sides and didn't really want to hear when my husband told him she was being rude. I just felt this whole experience was so unprofessional and uncalled for, it shouldnt have happened as I didnt speak to her its a shame she's like that, because everyone else is wonderful. Original I have been seeing Dr Abdul for over a year now, what started as a simple check up for my toddler cause our regular GP wasn't avaliable, developed into our regular GP . From the first visit, i could tell how caring, and attentive he is, especially to kids. My 2.5yr old daughter had a phobia of drs due to a bad experience when she was 9months old, but quickly fell for Dr Abdul's charm. I started seeing him for myself & 8 month old son as well, I couldn't recommend him enough, he has the keenest eye for detail and will notice things before you even tell him, his knowledge & bedside manner is quickly earning him the reputation of one of the best doctors in Liverpool. After 5 years of living in this area, we have finally found a doctor worth waiting for! Thank you so much Dr Abdul & a big thank you to Annie who always has the BEST phone & in person manners ❤❤"
"Location: 3/5 - It is placed on a busy road, so it is easy to miss the entrance Parking : 3/5 - This place has a small carpark around the back, but it is small so it gets full easily, luckily a car left as we arrived Waiting time : 3/5 waited about 15 minutes before we were called in to see the doctor but was busy so it was understandable Doctor: 5/5 - very attentive and was very caring towards my client Reception: 2/5 There was an older woman who was very abrupt she was nice enough with but seemed very cranky with everyone else and like she didn't want to be there Overall 3/5 will visit again for the doctor experience"
"I've been seeing Dr. Abdul Anwari for over a year now for my self and my family and I have to say he is an absolutely amazing Doctor who is attentive, caring and very professional. One thing that sets him apart from others is the way he explains your diagnosis. For example, he will explain why you have a viral infection and not a bacterial infection. The centre is also very calming, friendly, clean and the front desk receptionists are actually very kind, very welcoming and never rude. Really appreciate their efforts to provide quality care to their patients."
"Dr Yilmaz is a female doctor who is so caring, professional and takes the time to listen to you and explain. Very warm and friendly a beautiful lady. I am so happy to have found such a great doctor in the area she is great with kids and the elderly too. She made me feel very comfortable and she will be my family doctor."
"An absolutely fantastic Health Practice! I attended with my son, and the level of service and care that we received from our arrival from reception to then the Doctor and Nurse was brilliant. Big Thanks to Doctor Anwari whom we seen. Top notch Doctor who took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure my son was OK prior to us departing. Best health care I've seen in quite some time."
