About the Business
Welcome to Cecil Hills Medical Centre, located at 1 Lancaster Avenue in Cecil Hills, Australia. We are a trusted establishment that provides comprehensive healthcare services to our community.
At Cecil Hills Medical Centre, we have a team of highly qualified doctors, including Dr Fereshteh (Angela) Dastouri, who is a Specialist GP with expertise in administering cosmetic injectables. Dr Dastouri holds a MBCHB degree from Iraq, as well as FRACGP and a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. With her expertise, she can offer lasting results using Cosmetic Injectables, including Dermal Fillers, to rejuvenate various areas.
We understand that making decisions about your health can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to vaccinations. To assist you, we have compiled useful information to help you decide if the Flu Vaccination is right for you.
As a mixed billing practice, we strive to provide accessible healthcare while maintaining the highest standards of service. Please note that if you cancel your appointment within 24 hours or fail to attend, a non-attendance fee of $20.00 will be applied. This policy ensures fairness to all patients and allows us to accommodate everyone's needs.
In light of the current challenges posed by COVID-19, we have implemented measures to protect our patients and staff. We kindly request that patients call our practice or book appointments online. Initial consultations are conducted via Telehealth, and if necessary, follow-up appointments can be scheduled at the practice. This approach allows us to triage patients for COVID-19 symptoms and manage the number of patients in the practice at any given time.
Our standard appointments are 15 minutes long. However, certain services such as pap smears, health assessments, skin checks, or complex concerns may require longer appointments. During the initial Telehealth consultation, our doctors will advise if your next appointment needs to be in-person and if it requires a longer booking.
For privacy and confidentiality, test results are only given to the patient concerned by a doctor. It is advisable to make an appointment with your doctor to follow up on your test results.
Medical certificates can be provided by your doctor after a consultation, but please note that they cannot be backdated. It is recommended to seek this service early in your illness.
New patients must have a face-to-face consultation with one of our GPs as their first visit. However, if you have visited our practice in the past twelve months, you can book a telehealth consultation online.
At Cecil Hills Medical Centre, we adhere to the AMA code of Ethics regarding Privacy and Confidentiality. Rest assured that your medical records and consultations are kept strictly confidential.
If you need to transfer your medical records to our practice, please ask our reception team for a transfer of medical records request form. We can provide a health summary to your previous practice or doctor upon request.
Pathology tests require a referral from your GP. We encourage you to have the referral ready when visiting the pathology collection center. Some specific tests, such as pregnancy glucose tolerance testing, may require a separate booking with the pathology center.
Work cover patients will be treated the same as regular patients. Please inform your employer before your first consultation so they can provide you with a claim number related to your current case.
Specialists typically require a referral letter from a GP. To inquire about a referral letter, please make an appointment with one of our GPs who will guide you accordingly.
Our communications policy outlines how and when we handle telephone calls and electronic communication. Please note that emails are primarily used for administrative purposes, and we do not disclose personal information or book/cancel appointments through email.
Occasionally, we may reach out to you via SMS or email to provide general information about our practice or health services. Rest assured that any generic email communication will only include your name and email address, and no further information will be stored.

Reviews
"Its been such a great experience with Cecil Hills Clinic. Dr. Metti is really helpful and great with patients. I have been seeing him for a long time and never got disappointed by their service. Recommended for good service."
"Had to wait half an hour for someone to pick up the phone. When they did, they just hung up!!! So rude and a complete waste of my time. They tell you to inform them when you’re running late or to cancel appointments but they can’t be available to answer your calls AND they have the hide to charge you $20 if you’re late for your appointment. Not acceptable."
"The receptionists that work here are sick in the head. Talking down to my dying mother the second she walked in the door at Christmas when her usual dr was closed. Fine, you're not taking new patients cause you're understaffed, totally understandable. No need to be a total B#@&! about it."
