"We recently finished our home extension and renovations with Home Impact and we are delighted with the overall result. After having significant issues with our previous architect, we brought our plans across to Home Impact who immediately identified several logical modifications that made the build both cheaper and easier from a technical perspective without any compromising on our overall vision. Our build included both a renovation to our existing 1917 federation home and a significant new-build extension and Home Impact had the design skills, expertise and project management oversight to successfully handle all aspects. Karla walked us through the design aspects and finishes making sensible recommendations throughout the process. We were routinely informed of progress throughout the build, especially when unexpected issues arose (such as asbestos!) Our Project Manager, John, was knowledgeable and proactive in dealing with contactors and trades throughout the build. George (the master of concrete) was always going the extra mile to make sure that construction was of the highest standard and that quality wasn’t compromised. However, the star was definitely our Site Foreman, Wayne. Wayne was personable and thorough in everything that he did. His attention to detail was excellent and he was always willing to listen to our last-minute modifications and crazy ideas. He would routinely provide us access to site, provide easy-to-understand updates on progress and dealt with countless issues that could have easily derailed the build in timely and calm manner. The Home Impact Directors, Sam and Con, have created a very special team at Home Impact who were a delight to work with. They have certainly exceeded our expectations in delivering our dream home."
