On today 14th june time-3:45, I visited your store located at birkenhead. While browsing your merchandise, I approached the checkout counter to make a purchase. At that time, there were no other customers present in the store. However, the employee, a young woman with fair skin, exhibited a behavior that can only be described as disrespectful and discriminatory towards me and my partner. Despite our attempts to engage in a polite manner and proceed with the payment, the employee consistently ignored us. It was as if our presence was inconsequential and unworthy of her attention. We tried to communicate our intention to purchase the items, but our words fell on deaf ears. It became increasingly evident that her dismissive behavior was intentional and aimed specifically at us. To our astonishment, when we expressed our concerns, one of my companions made a comment implying that her treatment towards us might be influenced by racial bias. In response, the employee callously replied, "Yup, thanks," further confirming our suspicions of racial discrimination. This remark not only validated our feelings of being targeted but also left us deeply hurt and offended. I want to emphasize that no individual should be subjected to such discriminatory treatment, especially within the premises of a well-known brand like Converse. It is disheartening to witness racism in any context, but particularly distressing when experienced during a routine shopping trip. This incident has tarnished the image of Converse for me and has left me questioning the brand's commitment to diversity and inclusivity. I kindly request that you thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate actions to address the issue. It is crucial to ensure that your employees receive the necessary training to promote respectful and inclusive behavior towards all customers, irrespective of their race or ethnicity. "Overall, it's good. Shop has many different Converse shoes. Two things I would say is changing rooms are not clean and the staff manner is not professional, but they are friendly to talk."
