"I was craving dumplings and such, however didn't want to spend too much (eating for one person!). This place scratched that itch. The service was fine, the interior is average. It wasn't delicious and wasn't bad."
"Terrible experience! Both lamb and prawns had 10 x salt in it!! No flavour on those dishes. Pathetic customer service from the staff! Once We told them that those dishes has way too much salt, they just said sorry and they will do better on our next visit! They think after this experience we will return!! "Delicious dumplings, have been coming back for multiple times with consistent satisfaction. Good establishment with not only great food to offer but also organised and clean. Will kept coming back to try different dishes in the menu Edit. Back to the restaurant and tried the share dishes. Fish in Chili soup is flavoursome without chili flavour dominating the dish and the mongolian beef is simply gorgeously fragrant and divine."
"WHAT A GREAT FIND!! FRESH CHINESE CUISINE SERVED QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY With the name "McDumpling" you might expect mass produced low quality food BUT it is actually very good. Dumplings do, of course, star on the menu (and they are quite tasty!) but there is quite a range of other dishes on the menu. The cuisine is probably best described and Sichuan influenced Chinese. Prompt service with a smile. You get a table, browse through the menu and go up to the counter to order. Meanwhile you will be served tea in a thermos flask (we are in the middle of "little Vietnam" after all!). Mix and match a selection of dishes if there are a few of you dining and you get to try a few more things :) Very modern and clean. Not noisy. People with mobility issues have a small step up to negotiate on entry but once in the restaurant the floor is even; including the toilets at the rear of the dining hall. Cash and cards accepted. Parking along Hopkins Street is never easy so park anywhere nearby (or catch the train to Footscray) and walk the last little stretch."
"Newly opened fast food style restaurant. Really cheap but the quality is average. The dumplings are bite size and they have quite a range of flavor. The also have a selection of snacks. We ordered boiled pork and corn dumplings as well as fried pork mushroom dumplings. I prefer boiled one as the skin of the fried ones taste a bit funny. Cant really taste either the corn or the mushrooms. Also tried the fried chicken ribs. Quite tasty. Staff are friendly with limited English. Edit 29Mar2018: fried chicken ribs with rice is currently $6.50! Value for money and taste good too. Uploaded new menu."
