"If you're after pain relief stay away Dr Ravi Jayalath he's an A-Hole I told him that I'm taking Ibuprofen with Paracetamol and I'm still in pain he tells me I need to try aspirin too so that's what I did, I added aspirin to the mix and it made me extremely sick found out afterwards from a chemist that you should never mix anti-inflammatory drugs/NSAIDs for that very reason which both ibuprofen and aspirin are. so I would've been better off if I was turned away at the door as not only did I have to wait an hour and a half even though the wait time was advertised as 15 mins when I arrived my suffering was also made worse by seeing him"
"I was in the op shop below the medical center when I asked if there was a bathroom near by, I was told to just walk into the Medical Center so I did. I was feeling unwell, shaky and very panicked due to a new medication. I walked in and almost got to the bathroom when a staff member physically blocked me with her body and began making a scene saying it’s not a public toilet, I have to be a customer. She was incredibly rude. I ran out to my car and vomited everywhere. There was no time to make it to any other bathroom. I understand I wasn’t booked in ‘that’ day to see a doctor but it is my local and I was under the impression that it would be allowed. I feel overwhelmed and disappointed with the staff’s behaviour, it’s not the first time I have found them rude and to be frank you would think that if you worked in a health service you should know how to handle situations better. I feel the staff need more training on how to work with people and handle situations. I wouldn’t recommend going there if you can help it."
"Always leave feeling disappointed after seeing doctors here. I have seen about four different ones and have had the same experience every-time. It's usually a few hours wait to see one but it's weird because when u finally do they just rush you and don't actually care about you. They just wan't to get you out of there as quick as possible. None of them show compassion and they always seem to have a rude attitude. For some reason think they are better than everyone else. At least I had better experiences with the nurses here."
"I took my 4 year old son today on a Sunday morning to see a doctor after a bad night the night before. I suspected an ear infection. From the moment the doctor saw us to the moment we walked out his examination room, he treated both me and my son in the most unprofessional and disrespectful manner. He was very rough in his examination of my son who despite feeling terribly ill co-operated fully. Most disgraceful service from a doctor. He only spent 3 minutes examining my son. I'd like to name this doctor because he's thrown shade on the entire practice. This doctor doesn't deserve the respect I still showed him. He was condescending, rude, dismissive and as far from compassionate as one can get. The waiting room only had 2 other patients so they weren't inundated."
"It's like a private practice. If you book you go to the head of the queue. Used to be just walk in bulk billed. NOT anymore. WHY???? Makes the wait times for walk in EXCESSIVE. Not everyone knows they are going to be sick? You get sick overnight and you need to see a doctor next day."
