"It was great experience shopping in this shop, was actually looking for the jelly sandals for summer but apparently they were not available at the store yet. The staffs are so friendly and helpful when it came to assisting me find perfect pairs of shoes for myself while I shopped with a handful toddler. "If I could give them a '0' i would. I went into the shop and tried on a pair of shoes. They had the size 9 but they seemed a little snug, so I asked for the size 10. They told me they didnt have a size 10, and that 10 would definitely fit better as these shoes were a small make. I asked if they could check another store and they suggested me purchasing online - so I did. When they arrived, I tried them on only to see that I looked like Donald Duck. 10 was DEFINTELY NOT my size and them being a small make was really untrue. I took them to get them exchanged at Eastgardens. I approach the sales assistant and ask for an exchange, her look was like I had asked for life on another planet - she had never done an exchange - she calls her manager and manager says - just do a return. She spends 10min looking on how she should do a return and then gives up and calls her manager again - the manager says that NOW we dont do exchanges or returns. So now I see that both Sales Assistant and Manager have absolutely no idea what they're doing. The sign of relief on her face when the manager said no return was amazing - she was more interested in not having to do the return than actually helping out a customer. This gets better - the manager tells me that she too has been there for only a week and that Steve Madden in Eastgardens is NOT Steve Madden and they dont take online returns or exchanges. I have NEVER heard such BS in my life. I have seen lazy and total Morons before- but man, these 2 excelled. I hope Steve Madden read this and contact me because if this what they attach their their brand to - they are in serious trouble. Now I will return these donald duck shoes, pay for freight because you CANT TAKE ONLINE ORDERS WITH A RECEIPT BACK TO A STEVE MADDEN STORE. Buyers BEWARE! There is a reason why at Eastgardens they cant give the shoes away and you could hear a fly sneezing, I am sure they even cant put an order through. Oh well, I am sure the assistant went back to her google searches. Unbelievable!"
